Thankfully, we had not seen this ad series, since we do not usually watch TV and if we do we turn the TV off or change the channel during commercials. But I am so amazed at how quickly ads are becoming more and more offensive.

Levi’s takes offensive to a whole new level

This site has the video of the ad, which I do not recommend watching, even the paused picture is bad enough. She also has a poll which she will send to Levi’s when complete. Upon reading the comments it seems that this ad was shown during the past weekend’s football games.

‘LIVE UNBUTTONED’ WITH GLOBAL LAUNCH OF NEW, INNOVATIVE LEVI’S® 501® MARKETING CAMPAIGN

The theme of the ‘Live Unbuttoned’ campaign centers on the experience of “unbuttoning” yourself and breaking free from inhibitions and convention.

The ads evoke the free-spirit and attitude of Levi’s® 501® as an engaging cast of characters ‘unbutton’ their 501® jeans.
