• My cousin who received a liver transplant a few months ago has been in the hospital very sick again. They really don’t know what the problems are and right now they don’t appear to be related to her liver. But today her daughter graduates from college and mom is so disappointed to not be going. Thankfully the college is live streaming the graduation so we are praying she can watch it on someone’s computer in the ICU and that it works well. The other prayer is that she gets to be home by Christmas to spend time with her family.

  • The children are playing Christmas songs on the violins and piano today for the local nursing home. They’ve done this before and the ladies at the nursing home seemed to be looking forward to them coming. My oldest daughter planned out the songs interspersed with verses to “tell the story of Christ”, birth through resurrection. (The birth of Christ does no one any good if the death, burial and resurrection is left out.)

The weather here is horrible! Pouring rain and 37 degrees, brr. That causes problems with instruments like violins, keeping them tuned becomes a serious problem. Violins are tempermental instruments.
