“Our object should not be to have scripture on our side

but to be on the side of scripture;

and however dear any sentiment may have become by being long entertained,

so soon as it is seen to be contrary to the Bible,

we must be prepared to abandon it without hesitation.”

“so soon as it is seen to be contrary to the Bible, we must be prepared to abandon it without hesitation.” Kind of like asking Jesus “into your heart”?

I’m afraid there is much that many of us have been taught that doesn’t match the truth of Scripture. I hope to encourage everyone to check everything according to the Scripture before accepting what they hear.

Comments are definitely better in WordPress, plus several behind the scenes extra features.

So true Berean Wife, “…encourage everyone to check everything according to the Scripture before accepting…”

God Bless You, and keep seeking and searching.

King’s Kid,

Thank you. The searching out of the truth has been so much fun! I wish more would do the same. God’s Word is limitless in treasure and Truth.
