Several months ago I mentioned how much I was enjoying using Instaverse. It allows me to hover over a verse in an email or a word document and the complete verse pops up. Also when writing emails and word type documents the Instaverse has an auto completion feature.
My only problem was that because my computer was using Windows 7, I did not have the ability to use Instaverse on websites. That wasn’t a problem when websites used the RefTagger Bible verse program but many older web documents did not use that add on. I typically had used Internet Explorer, but occasionally I used Chrome. But for some reason I opened Firefox and surprise, surprise Instaverse works well in Firefox for web sites.
It will be nice if they ever upgrade the Instaverse so that it works on newer computers, but who can complain about such a great program that is totally free?

Hi! That’s good news! Since my son has been encouraging me to use Firefox, and I am getting used to doing so (a little). Our new computer’s keyboard skips just about every other letter when I use Internet Explorer–very, very frustrating! But it’s not the keyboard. So, somehow we found out that it doesn’t have this glitch when we use Firefox! So, old mom just has to get used to it. Now, this is a new motivation for me to do it.
Thanks!
Wendy

Wendy,
I’m glad I could help. I still prefer Explorer myself, but if there is something I’m reading with lots of verses, I have started opening it in Firefox. Old habits are hard to change, but it is worth it for instant access to the Scriptures.
