“We cannot come to Christ to be justified until we have first been to Moses,

to be condemned. But once we have gone to Moses,

and acknowledged our sin, guilt and condemnation,

we must not stay there.

We must let Moses send us to Christ.”

This quote is so true. For the longest time I thought I was a Christian just because I believed that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins, then I decided to go my own way. It wasn’t until a devastating crisis happened to me that I realized through the Old Testament and the Ten Commandments that I was a guilty sinner that needed to repent and put my faith in Jesus Christ to be forgiven. I knew at that moment that I had never been eternally saved before. I am so thankful for the Law that pointed me to Jesus Christ.

Deb,

That’s wonderful that the Lord has shown you the truth and saved you. Thankfully the Law pointed you to Jesus and hopefully there you will remain. The whole of Scripture points us to Jesus and there we should remain if we are faithful believers.
