Heard recently:
Complaining – That’s just life.
Actually it should be:
Complaining – That’s just sin.
Philippians 2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
That’s right, Fara!
And we could apply it to
“Worrying, that’s just sin!”
“Fussing children, that’s just sin!”
“Disrespectful teen-agers, that’s just sin!”
Thanks for a great reminder to be conscious of what we say and think, and not to pass off everyday struggles as just “life”. 🙂

Laine,
Thanks. I’ve heard all of those said as if they are just fine. It is sad. 🙁
The latest one “I’m just a man.” As an excuse for sin. (P.S. Not from my DH.)
